When Leaps&Bounds was launched in March 2024, I had no idea what to expect. I didn’t anticipate the incredible highs of winning important, complex projects, or receiving texts like this:
“You’ve been outstanding. A lifeline. You have been pivotal at a critical time.”
I also hadn’t imagined having to dip into personal funds to cover payroll at the end of 2024 and feeling the doubts creep in. On the one hand, I knew the work we were doing was meaningful. On the other hand, I wondered – would it be enough?
And then January hit, and everything changed. The seeds that we planted started to grow. The clients we worked with in 2024 were calling for second and third projects, and the referrals started to flow. We had momentum, and we haven’t looked back.
Now we’re at another pivotal moment. The excitement (and nerves) have returned as we prepare to launch our next phase. Since the beginning, I’ve spoken with business owners and leaders about gaps in the industry, what they value in partners, and where partners sometimes fall short. Each insight came back to my team, shaping and refining how we work. The result? Clients often tell us, “You’re doing things differently.”
What’s New for Leaps&Bounds

From recruitment to day-to-day support, strategic projects, and outplacement, we’re now your full HR partner. This is a brand-new offering that complements the leadership and strategy work we’ve been doing from the start.

Training, assessments, and coaching remain at the heart of how we help teams thrive, and we’re excited to soon introduce new leadership training that will take this work even further.

Looking Ahead
We’re not slowing down; our dreams are big. Leaps&Bounds will continue to expand within Manitoba and across Canada (we are excited to already be supporting clients in ON and BC), and we’ll grow our team with the same focus on competency, character, and commitment. We’ll keep giving back to the communities that have supported us.
